Chris Grijalva

Chris Grijalva (Mr. G) graduated from Weber State University with a major in physics and a minor in mathematics. He is married to Therese Grijalva who is a professor of economics at Weber State University. Chris has a ten-year-old son named Julien (who is awesome!) and a seven-year-old daughter named Aliyah (who is awesome!)

This is his eighth year at NUAMES and he has enjoyed every year. He currently teaches three different engineering classes Principles of Engineering, Introduction to engineering Design, and Aerospace Engineering. In addition to teaching Chris has co-mentored (along with Mr. Rudes) the NUAMES FIRST robotics team for six years.

When not in the classroom, Mr. G is an avid rock climber. He has been to many parts of the world pursuing his sport, and if he ever claims to be to sick to come to school, he is probably rock climbing. Among other things he also ice climbs, skis, snowboards, does white water rafting, and loves to mountain bike.
